Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr Manager, Growth Marketing from a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) performance-driven environment with proven experience growing and optimizing marketing channels, particularly Paid Social and Paid Search. In this role, you will spearhead the creation, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns across diverse platforms, all aimed at meeting and exceeding our key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborating with our agencies and creative teams, you will craft strategies that drive conversions and overall business impact. We’re seeking a strategic thinker with a keen eye for creativity and a knack for identifying patterns, a self-starter, purpose driven team player, to lead paid social and paid search acquisition to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the paid social and branded search budgets and campaigns across channels with a primary focus on paid social and paid search, including strategy, efficient use of funds to meet goals, target analysis, creative development and ad set up, content calendar, monitoring and reporting.

  • Develop campaigns, creative development and testing plans. Analyzes data and offers data-driven recommendations and adjustments to ensure campaigns are hitting performance targets.

  • Provide insights into future performance trends and contribute to media budgeting exercises on a Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly basis. Makes recommendations of media relocations in weekly basis if needed.

  • Forecasts channel performance and its impact on the overall brand performance.

  • Partners with brand team and website e-commerce to develop and test new landing pages and experiment with ‘post click’ experience.

  • Works closely with the brand marketing lead on messaging that is both compelling and on-brand.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and retention across all digital channels.

  • Lead the paid social strategy, working in tandem with agencies and guiding them towards tangible results.

  • Provide POV on industry topics, best practices, and new paid social marketing opportunities.

  • Lead creative team through the development and implementation of creative for paid social, sharing content concepts, and inspiration to optimize ad quality.

  • Stay on top of relevant social media platforms, trends, and competitor activity - strategize accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, or related field.

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in paid social media marketing roles with proven experience in managing paid social media campaigns specifically for brands with DTC and Amazon presence where the main KPI is CAC/CPA.

  • Previous experience creating and running DTC conversion campaigns.

  • Experience with advertising in Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok is a must.

  • Excellent analytical skills and business acumen and experience with campaign measurement and reporting and ability to analyze data for trends and discover insights that have a meaningful impact in the customer journey and LTV.

  • Experience with A/B testing in channels you have worked on.

  • ​​Expertise in utilizing software and platforms such as MTA (Marketing Touch Attribution) and MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling) measurement platforms. Experience with RockerBox or similar platforms is highly desirable.

  • Experience navigating regulated industries or controversial spaces and an understanding of the challenges of getting content approved a plus.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working with influencers or other partnerships preferred.

  • Ability to spot and troubleshoot pixel issues preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, switch gears quickly, and work autonomously.

  • Strong interest in women's health and a belief in Equelle's mission.

Location and Work Model

Our team is operating in a hybrid work model and this role will have the flexibility to work remotely part of the time and in our physical office in La Jolla two days a week (Wed-Thurs). There is a strong preference for a San Diego based candidate willing to meet this hybrid requirement. Exceptional candidates may be considered for fully remote positions; PST working hours and travel to San Diego, CA will be required.

Annual Salary: $114,600- $171,900

(This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
